Weekly Circular 8 March 2026

Dear Parents, Staff and Students

Thank you to the Windsor family for supporting our student leaders, Yahya Abader and Zahra Salie, who organized the IFTAR on Friday evening. A job well done and welcomed by the school management. This has become a tradition as it is the third year that the school hosts the Iftar but historic in that it is the first time that students took the lead. We are so proud of you both Yahya 12C and Zahra 12D. Thank you to all who attended this blessed occasion.

School Uniform: The blazer is a compulsory item of the school uniform and must be worn. We have a second hand uniform shop at school for those who wish to exchange a blazer that has become too small at a minimum cost. We also have blazers available to purchase. We will not allow learners to make up their own uniform. The only skirt allowed to be worn is the check skirt. Navy or grey skirts have NEVER been part of the school uniform. We will exchange check skirts that have become too small for one from the uniform shop at a minimum cost as well. There are no excuses, parents/guardians and students. Break DT is the consequence for any uniform infringement.

Outstanding School Fees: This message is to the grades 9 to 12 parents. All families with outstanding balances of over R2000-00 as at 31 December 2025 have been handed over to our debt collectors. They have started their communication with you and all your queries will be dealt with by the Prosum team and not the school. Grade 8 parents and guardians do take note as we are serious about all paying their school fees. The current year 2026 school fees are handled by the bursar. Grade 12 parents, you are reminded that the 2026 school fees must be paid and up to date by 31 August 2026 for your child to be invited to the Matric Ball.

Textbooks: All textbooks must be covered with plastic. This is to protect the books from damage. Each book has a scanning code linked to the students’ name. Damaged and lost books are costs incurred by the student and for the parents’ account. We have issued books to students who have returned their textbooks from the previous year.

Outreach: Attached is an appeal for support of the sandwich drive by the community outreach society.

The week ahead:

Dismissal time for the week ahead is at 2pm for students as the March test commences this week. Attached again is the test time-table. This communication also serves to inform parents/guardians that the test time-table will be extended to cover informal tests. The extension program of assessment will be forwarded in our next communication. Study hard and prepare well for the March test series.

We are filled with gratitude for all the blessings bestowed on the Windsor family and we pray for peace in our family, in our communities and in the world.

Kind Regards

Dianne Morgan-Meyer
