Weekly Circular 16 November

Dear Parents, Staff and Students

This past week the entire school has been involved in writing the final November Examination. We thank all staff for the smooth running of the examination. A special thanks to Ms Brown, Chief invigilator for the grade 12 NSC Exam and her team. Also to Ms Mally, Head of Examinations [8-11] and her team. We thank you, our Windsor families, for all the communication and engagements with the school. Thank you to all our students who are studying and preparing well for each subject being written. Keep doing your very best.

Punctuality

This becomes extremely important as no additional time can be provided for a student arriving late for an examination. If your child is running late in the morning do email the school or call the school to inform us. We do not allow any examination room to be disturbed by latecomers.

Cellphones

It is an examination irregularity for a student to have a cellphone in the exam room, on their person or in their bag. Engage with your child to hand in the phone at reception in the morning and to collect it after the exam. Windsor High is a cell phone free zone during school hours.

Reminders:

Budget meeting on Tuesday, 18th November 2025 at 6pm in the minor school hall. All parents are invited and must note that the decisions made at this meeting are binding on all families.

Textbooks to be returned and school fees to be paid.

School dismisses at 1pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm on a Friday.

Grade 12 Donation of school uniform

As we approach the last day of the NSC exam during this week, we remind the grade 12 learners of the tradition of coming dressed in casual clothes on the last day of your individual NSC exam in exchange for a donation of school uniform items placed in a bag. The uniform items can include shoes, pants, skirts, shirts, ties, blazers, jerseys. Your donated bag of school uniform allows you to come dressed in casual clothes on the last day that you write.

We thank the Almighty for all the blessings bestowed on Windsor High. We pray that the week ahead will be peaceful, that our students remain focused on performing well in the exam and that we are all protected and kept safe. En Avante, Forward and Upward.Kind Regards
